Image is a quarterly literary journal that publishes art that grapples with the mystery at the heart of religious faith. Founded in 1989 to demonstrate the vitality and diversity of contemporary art and literature that engage with Western religious traditions, Image is now one of the world’s leading literary journals published in English. Image also runs development workshops for artists and conducts the Master of Fine Arts program at Seattle Pacific University.

TEPHE is an online platform that connects K-12 educators with experts and professionals in their community to create and schedule transformational educational experiences for students. We make pairing academic studies with real-world examples and guest speakers easy and effective for schools. We connect classroom learning to real-world careers and introduce students to new people, ideas, and opportunities.

The Kings of Weightlifting is a free after-school Olympic weightlifting program for underprivileged youth with the goal of strengthening the community one kid at a time.  By providing a safe place for kids to go after school, and by mentoring underprivileged youth in South Central Los Angeles, this program helps kids succeed in school and learn valuable lessons about life, fitness, nutrition and of course, weightlifting.

Sustainable Coastlines Hawaii was founded in 2010 by eight friends talking around a table in a small house in Kaimuki. Inspired by our good friends Sustainable Coastlines in New Zealand, they decided to begin keeping Oahu's beaches clean with their own hands while making the work fun. Sustainable Coastlines Hawaii has expanded their programs to inspire better consumer behaviors and continued coastal stewardship through cleanups, education, social media, and more.

charity: water brings clean and safe drinking water to people in developing countries. The water crisis is huge, but it is solvable. charity : water works with local experts and community members to find the best sustainable solution for the site, whether it’s a well, a piped system, a BioSand Filter, or a system for harvesting rainwater. And every water point comes with sanitation and hygiene training and establishing a local Water Committee to help keep water flowing for years to come.

Good ideas can come from anyone, anywhere, at any time. Mari and Dennis started with social entrepreneurs pitching ideas to the World Bank, and ended up launching the world’s first crowdfunding community in 2002. Today, people in more than 165 countries can easily share their ideas, and individual donors and companies can easily support vetted nonprofits through GlobalGiving.

Inner-City Arts, widely regarded as one of the nation's most effective arts education providers, is an oasis of learning, achievement and creativity in the heart of Los Angeles' Skid Row. Inner-City Arts engages young people in the creative process in order to shape a society of creative, confident and collaborative individuals. In partnership with the Los Angeles School District, Inner-City Arts envisions a society that honors the human capacity for creativity, and values its cultivation in the education of young people.
